Fitting vinyl flooring – it’s that easy!

Thanks to the built-in underlay and the modern UNICLIC, UNIZIP, UNIDROP and 5G VALINGE mounting systems, the fitting of our floors is fast and problem-free. The panels are joined with click locks, which do not require the use of glue. Laying the panels is simple and enjoyable, so you can easily do it yourself.

Step 1
Transport and preparation – how to transport vinyl panels?

When transporting the packages with panels, stack them horizontally, in even stacks and on a flat surface. Do not store packages in a humid, very cold (below 5°C) or hot (above 35°C) place. Before installation, acclimatise the panels for 48 hours in the target room at 18-30°C. Maintain the floor temperature for at least 24 hours before and after installation.

Step 2
How do I prepare the substrate for the installation of vinyl panels?

Make sure the subfloor is properly fixed and stable. Remove the previous floor covering (e.g. carpet, sheet flooring, existing panels). Then carefully sweep and vacuum the subfloor, as it must be free of any dirt such as dust, sand or mud. All protrusions must be scraped and removed and gaps must be filled with products designed for this purpose.

Step 3
How do I install vinyl panels?

Download the installation instructions appropriate to the VIN IN collection from which your panels come and follow the steps described. You can find all the instructions here.

Step 4
How do I clean a vinyl floor?

You can mop VIN IN vinyl panels with a wet or damp mop, preferably using a cleaning fluid with the right pH, which will keep your floor in good condition for many years. We do not recommend the use of natural soap-based detergents, which create a sticky surface, or agents containing abrasive particles, which can tarnish and damage the panels.
